Innkeeper’s favorite places to snowshoe in the Mt Washington Valley: Some are off the beaten path, like the Darby Field Inn, while others include groomed trails and services.  1) The Darby Field Inn: just 6 miles from North Conway the Darby Field Inn is nestled on the north slope of Bald Hill overlooking the White Mountain National Forest and Presidential Mountains. Our snowshoe and cross country ski trails are right out the door and are available for the private use of our house guests. We have about 5 miles of trails from easy to challenging. Our Snowshoe Package includes a guided tour by our innkeeper, Marc Donaldson.  2) Tin Mountain Conservation Center - Located just one mile from the inn, has 5 miles of trails including a wonderful loop around a beaver pond and wooded trails through varied terrain.
