Reservation Policies and Specifics

2016 Peak Season Dates - add $20 per night to room rates:
Fall Foliage: 09/23 - 10/16; Christmas vacation and New Year's 2017: 12/26/2015-01/02/2017

Minimum Stay:
A two night stay is required most weekends in Deluxe Rooms/Suites, but a one night stay is sometimes possible.

Single Occupancy: Subtract $20 from B&B rates. 

Additional Person in Room:  $30 per person, per night.
The Chase Suite has cots for up to 2 additional guests.

Damage to Room:
Please treat the Inn and its property gently so others can enjoy it, too.  You will be charged to replace any damaged, stained, or missing items from your room.  If evidence of smoking is detected in your room, your card on file will be charged a $150 fee for the cost of deep cleaning. 

Staff Gratuity:
Tipping of breakfast and housekeeping staff is left to the discretion of our guests.  An automatic 20% dinner/beverage gratuity is included when you charge to your room.

Our Restaurant:
On site dining is available 2 - 6 nights per week, depending on the season. Our Dinner Menu is offered in either our mountain-view dining room, or in our cozy tavern. Because the days and hours of operation for the restaurant change seasonally, please inquire whether dinner will be available when making your reservations. 

Smoking:  The Darby Field Inn is a non smoking establishment. Guests may smoke outside in designated areas. 

Alcohol:  We have a full liquor license and offer a variety of beverages in our tavern.  You may bring your own alcohol to consume in the privacy of your room only.   All alcohol consumed in public spaces of the inn must be purchased from us.

Children and Pets: 
We love kids, and pets too, but the Inn is not well suited for either. 
Your children must be over eight years old to stay with us, and we cannot allow pets of any kind.

Deposits: 
We require a 50% (or one day, minimum) room deposit to confirm your reservation. Deposits are due at the time of booking. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express for your convenience. We send confirmation letters via email or US mail.

Cancellations:
We are a small country inn; cancellations affect us greatly.  We cannot be responsible for weather, illness or injury...a $25 processing fee, per room, will be assigned to all cancelled/ transferred reservations.  Cancellations outside 14 days of the reservation will receive a refund of the remaining deposit.  Cancellations inside 14 days, your deposit will be refunded only if we are able to re-rent your room(s), and then minus our $25 fee, per room.
