2020 Peak Season Dates

Add $20 per night to room rates

Fall Foliage: 09/27/19 – 10/19/19

Christmas week through New Year’s Day: 12/26/2019 – 01/01/2022

Minimum Stay

A two night stay is required most weekends. They are released for one night reservations three days in advance. There is an automatic $20 convenience fee added for one night stays when two nights are available.

Single Occupancy

Subtract $20 from B&B rates.

Additional Person in Room (Children 8 – 18)

$20 per person, per night. The Chase Suite has 2 cots for children.

Damage to Room

Please be considerate of the inn and its property. If any damages are found to have occurred in your room during your stay, a fee will be charged to your card. The amount of this fee will be calculated based upon the severity of the damages.

Staff Gratuity

Tipping of breakfast and housekeeping staff is left to the discretion of our guests. An automatic 20% dinner/beverage gratuity is included when you charge items to your room.

Our Restaurant

On site dining is currently available Friday and Saturday nights (and New Year’s Eve) by advance reservation and pre-order. Please inquire whether dinner will be available when making your reservations.


The Darby Field Inn is a non-smoking establishment. Guests may smoke outside in designated areas, at least 25 feet from any entrance. There will be a $50 cleaning fee for violations of our policy.


We have a full liquor license and offer a variety of beverages in our tavern. You may bring your own alcohol to consume in the privacy of your room only.  All alcohol consumed in public spaces of the inn must be purchased from us.

Children and Pets

We love kids, and pets too, but the Inn is not well suited for either. Your children must be 8 and older to stay with us, and we cannot allow pets of any kind.

Check-in Times

2-6 PM Check-out Times: 9-11 AM


We require a 50% (or one night, minimum) room deposit to confirm your reservation. Deposits are due at the time of booking. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express for your convenience. We send confirmation letters via email.


We are a small country inn; cancellations affect us greatly. We cannot be responsible for weather, illness, injury, or death. However, we are human.  Please call us as soon as you know you must cancel or move your reservation!

A $25 processing fee, per room, will be assigned to all cancelled or transferred reservations. Cancellations outside 14 days of the reservation will receive a refund of the remaining deposit. On cancellations inside 14 days, your deposit will be forfeit unless we are able to re-rent your room(s) to others.
