Happy New Year 2010!

This group of 11 friends returned to the inn for the New Year and spent 3 days laughing, playing games and generally cheering up the atmosphere, our staff, and our other guests. They have been doing a New Year’s getaway for the past 25 years, and we have been voted their all time favorite! We’re ever so flattered and very happy they returned to us…we hope to see them again soon! In the meantime, I’m working on my own group of friends to hold close for that long! For now, Happy New Year to All, and good luck with your resolutions, but don’t forget the importance of what you already have…

Steve popped the question this weekend and Jill accepted, after waiting 5 years! He probably had to save up for the ring, which was absolutely gorgeous!! Since this was also her birthday weekend, I’d say she definintely had a memorable one. They werent able to take a sleigh ride, so we’ll look forward to seeing them again once we have enough snow!

We are so happy they managed to dodge the thunderstorms and have blue skies for their ceremony…here’s hoping their love “weathers” all other cloudy days throughout the course of their marriage!

Chuck and Cyndi were married atop Mt. Washington this past Thursday. They spent 3 nights here at the Inn with us, exploring the area and taking a break from the “real” world. I will miss their smiling faces at breakfast and hope to see them again, soon! Oh, and thanks for the good weather, Chuck. We hope it holds for awhile!

They came to stay with us two days on an elopement package and were lucky enough to have both rain and sunshine on their wedding day! After a quick ceremony on the patio, they had a small reception in the tavern and headed up to Mt. Washington for the afternoon. They are a wonderful, personable couple and we wish them the best of luck!

These four friends stayed with us at the inn to witness Leanne and Marcos be married and Andrea and Wellington renew their vows. Our innkeeper performed both ceremonies. We wish both couples all the best!

This young couple escaped for a white mountain elopement here and we all had the best time! They are originally from Texas and wanted to be married in the snow so off we tromped (Vera in her dress) to the top of the hill! The view was perfect – we couldnt have asked for any better. We hope to see them again before they head back down to Texas…We all wish you two all the best!
