There is a warm, personal element you'll sense as soon as you enter the Darby Field Inn. Our living room, with its massive fieldstone fireplace (a favorite in wintertime), invites you to enjoy the camaraderie of other guests, read a good book, or simply relax with your own thoughts and our mountain view. Caruso, the inn's yellow canary, challanges you share a conversation over his excited singing. An interesting fact about this room is all the iron work was forged here at the inn in its own bellows: chandaliers, endirons, fireplace tools and the banisters leading upstairs.
Littlefield's Tavern is like two rooms in one: By day, it's a sunlit reading room filled with plants, with the large picture windows looking out on our award winning flower gardens. By night, it's transformed into a cozy pub illuminated by the warm glow of lanterns, with soft jazz or blues playing in the background. Share some lighter fare and a bottle of wine while challanging each other to yet another game of Cribbage.
