Come join us in cozy Littlefield's Tavern for a refreshing libation, something tasty from our dinner menu, or perhaps just a lively game of cribbage, the Tavern favorite! This sunroom tavern is named for Samuel and Polly Chase Littlefield who originally settled on these grounds in 1826. In the later 1800s, Samuel Littlefield Jr. and his wife Laura Shackford welcomed guests in the summer to supplement their income. For over 150 years guests have been coming to what is now the Darby Field Inn to enjoy fresh air, mountain views, clean water, and delicious home cooked meals.
Our full dinner menu is available in Littlefield's Tavern along with an extensive selection of beer, wine, and spirits. Let us serve you your favorite our try one of our recommendations. Our Tavern is the perfect place to enjoy views of our award-winning gardens in the summer months while the woodstove will keep you warm as winter surrounds us.
