Our policies are outlined below. When you make a reservation, either by internet or phone, you agree with all policies. Please give us a call if you have any questions or concerns.
2018 Peak Season Dates - Add $20 per night to room rates:

Christmas week through New Year's Day: 12/26/2018 - 01/01/2018
A two night stay is required most weekends in Deluxe Rooms/Suites, July through October. They are released for one night reservations two weeks in advance. During our busy season, July through October, there is a tax free $20 convenience charge for one night stays over weekends.
Subtract $20 from B&B rates.
Additional Person in Room (Children 8 - 18):
$20 per person, per night.
The Chase Suite has 2 cots for children.
Damage to Room:
Please be considerate of the inn and its property. We buy nice things for guest rooms so all our guests can enjoy them. There is no smoking or open flames (candles) allowed in our rooms.
Tipping of breakfast and housekeeping staff is left to the discretion of our guests. An automatic 20% dinner/beverage gratuity is included when you charge items to your room.
On site dining is available 2 - 6 nights per week, depending on the season. Our Dinner Menu is offered in either our mountain-view dining room, or in our cozy tavern. Because the days and hours of operation for the restaurant change seasonally, please inquire whether dinner will be available when making your reservations.
The Darby Field Inn is a non-smoking establishment. Guests may smoke outside in designated areas, at least 25 feet from any entrance.
We have a full liquor license and offer a variety of beverages in our tavern. You may bring your own alcohol to consume in the privacy of your room only. All alcohol consumed in public spaces of the inn must be purchased from us.
Children and Pets:
We love kids, and pets too, but the Inn is not well suited for either. Your children must be 8 and older to stay with us, and we cannot allow pets of any kind.
We require a 50% (or one night, minimum) room deposit to confirm your reservation. Deposits are due at the time of booking. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express for your convenience. We send confirmation letters via email.
We are a small country inn; cancellations affect us greatly. We cannot be responsible for weather, illness, injury, or death. However, we are human. Please call us as soon as you know you must cancel or move your reservation!
A $25 processing fee, per room, will be assigned to all cancelled or transferred reservations. Cancellations outside 14 days of the reservation will receive a refund of the remaining deposit. Cancellations inside 14 days, receive a refund only if we are able to re-rent your room(s).
